About Us
Combining over 60 years experience in the Indiana lighting industry, Randy Belden and Steve Warstler merged their two agencies as of September 1, 2002 to create ESL Spectrum, Inc. By doing so, the best resources of both previous companies formed an even stronger organization. The agency headquarters occupies a 20,000 square foot office and warehouse facility located in the heart of Indianapolis’ Distributor Row. Twenty-four employees in offices in Indianapolis, Evansville, Fort Wayne and South Bend serve the needs of its customers. Steve and Randy are the sole principals.
Randy Belden
Randy received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Butler University in 1971. He started working in the electrical industry as a supply rep. in 1974, for Electrical Sales Inc. Randy started ESL Inc. in 1980, then joined Steve Warstler in 2002 and started ESL-Spectrum. As of 2008, Randy has been married for 36 years and has two children. His son Travis is 28 years old and his daughter Whitney is 29. Randy and his wife Janet are proud grandparents of their first granddaughter, Kennedy Conyers. Randy and Janet like to travel, visit family and collect antiques.
Steve Warstler
Monica Autry
Monica has been in the electrical industry for over 25 years, with over 18 years dedicated to the lighting agency business and over 7 years in the commodity agency business. Born and raised in Indianapolis, Monica graduated from Northwest High School and went on to graduate from Speedway Beauty College. She currently resides in Decatur Township with her husband and three sons, ages 18, 13, and 10. Monica is very involved with her sons and their sports; she is currently the President of the Decatur United Soccer Club and President of the Decatur Central High School Soccer Booster.
Charlie Beard, P.E.
Charlie has served in the electrical industry for over 35 years and was registered as a Professional Engineer in 1990. His experience ranges from design of electrical systems to installation. Charlie also has experience serving as a network administrator and as a project manager. Charlie is a graduate of Purdue University and currently resides in Rossville, Indiana. He is married to Linda and has two married children, Erica lives in Rossville and Scott is in Houston Texas. He has one grandson, Cody, age 14 that is into motor bike racing.
Kristopher Carter
Kris has been with ESL-Spectrum since November, 2001. Born and raised in Indianapolis, he attended Vincennes University and IUPUI/Herron while majoring in art education and art history and later received an Associates of Science from ITT in drafting and design. Kris is a huge sports fan and is extremely competitive. He enjoys golf, working out, music, traveling and wrenching on his car.
Steve Clearwater
Steve has over 10 years experience as an electrical contractor. He also holds a Master Electrician’s License. He attended IUPUI, and is a native Hoosier. He is married with 2 children and enjoys fishing and golfing.
Lisa Crouch
A graduate of Purdue University, Lisa has been with ESL-Spectrum since 2005. She has over 18 years experience working in various positions within the electrical industry. Lisa is also a very active member of the Electric League of Indiana.
Stacy Frank
Stacy has over 15 years experience in Project Management and Inside Sales. Born and raised in Indiana, she has been with ESL-Spectrum since October of 2005. Prior to joining ESL-Spectrum, she spent five years working at Siemens Energy and Automation and four years in the steel industry. She attended college at Indiana Tech and for three years in row achieved the Dean’s List, Magna cum laude, studying Business Management. Her hobbies are basketball, walking, reading mystery novels, movies, and the ocean.
Harry Hall
Harry has worked with ESL-Spectrum for over 15 years. Before joining the company, he spent 10 years working for Gene B. Glick as a residential maintenance technician, and over two years working in Florida. Harry has been married for over 25 years, and has one daughter, three step-daughters, and nine grandchildren. When not busy taking care of things at ESL-Spectrum, Harry enjoys camping, woodworking, and spending quiet time with his wife at their home in the S.E. side of Indianapolis.
Toni Leffler
Toni has been with ESL-Spectrum since 2004. Toni grew up in Indianapolis, and after high school, she attended St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. After graduating from their Operating Room Technician’s program, she worked in surgery until marrying and starting a family. Four children and 16 ½ grandchildren later, she is greatly enjoying their many and various social and athletic activities. They are her priority, but other interests include spending time with family and friends, live musical entertainment, reading, sports, walking and other outdoor activities, such as gardening, and helping with church functions.
LuAnn Lineback
LuAnn started her lighting career with P.R. Angrick & Associates in 1981. As of 2008, she has been with ESL-Spectrum for 24 years. After attending Ball State University, LuAnn moved to Bloomington to attend Indiana University and went on to IUPUI where she received a degree in Business Management. She is the Vice President and board member for the local Indiana Chapter of IES. Her free time is spent with her daughter Emily and son in law Adrian Crane and her two grandchildren, Ethan and Ella.
Pat Loraine
Pat has been with ESL-Spectrum since December, 1992. Pat was born and raised in Fort Wayne, IN, where she graduated high school at Bishop Dwenger. Pat has two sons- Jim, 22, and Doug, 24, and has been married for over 25 years.
Jon Munson
Jon has been with ESL-Spectrum since the spring of 2007. He is currently enrolled at IUPUI and will be graduating in the spring of 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Graphics Technology. Jon also has training in lighting design software including AGI 32 and LitePro. His interests include graphic design, architecture, animation, video games, music, photography, the great outdoors and microbrews.
Scott Parkinson
Scott graduated in 1996 from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management. Scott has been in sales since graduation, and joined ESL-Spectrum in 2006 as an outside sales agent. Scott was married in 1996, and in 2004 welcomed the arrival of his daughter, Hailey. Scott is very enthusiastic about baseball, basketball, and football.
Donna Parks
Donna has been with ESL-Spectrum since 1992. Born and raised in Indianapolis, Donna graduated from Broad Ripple High School in 1961 and attended Ball State University for two years. She has been in the accounting and financial management fields for over 35 years. Donna has a daughter, a son, and three grandchildren. Her hobbies include reading, writing short stories, re-watching her collection of classic old movies (the original King Kong, Casablanca, etc.), fishing and traveling.
Debra Richards
Deb Richards is a new hire (2008) and is currently learning the business. She has three children who are still very active in school and sports which keep her busy. She has prior experience has a medical technician and has been in the lighting business less than three months. Her hobbies are her children and volunteer work at her church.
Tim Schaefer
Ashley Schneider
Ashley received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Butler University in 2003. Since graduating, she has chosen to work in the field of accounting and joined ESL-Spectrum in 2008 as Assistant Controller. Ashley is newly married and lives with her husband in Broadripple with their two dogs, Benji and Kujo. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys going to see live shows of her favorite bands, entertaining her friends, traveling, and reading classic novels.
Mike Sellers
Mike has been with ESL-Spectrum since 2000. He currently resides in Mishawaka, IN. Make has three grown children with seven grand children ranging in ages from 12 to 5. He enjoys all sports, including golf, which he can still play but not very well.
Pete Snyder
Pete grew up in New York, and moved to South Bend while attending the University of Notre Dame. Afterward graduation, he enlisted in the Army, where he served Active Duty for nine years, and piloted the UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter. Pete has worked in the electrical industry since 2003 and been with ESL-Spectrum since 2006. Pete is married to his wife Kimberly and has three kids: Brock, Payton and Brody.
Jane Stallard
Jane was born and raised in Indianapolis, where she attended Perry Meridian High School. She later went on to receive a B.A. in Sociology from Indiana University, where she also studied Social Work. Jane has been with ESL-Spectrum since 2006, and worked the previous 15 years in Building Controls and Gear for Siemens. Jane loves to travel, wear flip-flops and work out.
Polly Templeton
Polly has been with ESL-Spectrum for over 22 years. She is originally from Akron, Ohio, but has lived in Indiana most of her life. Polly graduated from Indiana University with a B.A. in Fashion Merchandising and a minor in Business. She is married and has a son who is a sophomore in college and a daughter who is a junior in high school. Polly loves to scrapbook, read, volunteer for church activities and walk.
James Zenor
James has been with ESL-Spectrum for over eight years. He graduated from Indiana University, has two kids and is married.
Mike Zenor
Mike has over 20 years experience in the lighting industry with over 15 years at ESL-Spectrum, where he specializes in Outside Sales and Quotes. Mike and his wife, Lovelia, reside in Greenwood. They have three grandchildren, one of which is “special” needs. Mike enjoys Muscle cars, sports and working outdoors.
